Purchasing raw materials for weaving Bolga Bags for weavers in Ghana

We’re making another wish of the weavers in Ghana true.
Raw materials for Bolga Bags also come at a cost. The price of elephant grass fluctuates throughout the year depending on the dry and rainy seasons. The beautiful colors used when dyeing the bags do not come from Ghana. They are imported all the way from Nigeria.
Here, as well as anywhere else, buying in larger quantities means paying much less.
We are pleased that we were able to use the proceeds from the Christmas sale of Bolga Bags in the Czech Republic to buy raw materials for our weavers at significantly lower prices. This, of course, has an important effect for our weavers: producing the bags costs them less, so they receive more money for their work.
Thank you for helping us!
P.S. You can already see the brand-new bags to arrive in the spring in the pictures.
